Land Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc.
Land Engineering & Environmental Services (LEES) provided Civil Engineering services for this new
50,000-square-foot, five story office building.  The new building incorporates the 11,000-square foot
ruins of the former Tremont Mills Power House, which dates back to the 1840's.  The new building
preserves the turbine pits that once housed the water wheels responsible for providing power to the
Tremont mill complex.  Services provided by LEES included; design of parking layout and access to
the building, utility services design, stormwater management design for compliance with the
Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection's Stormwater Management Policy, and
guidance of the project through the regulatory review to obtain necessary municipal approvals.
